Isn't it grand?

Good Sunday morning all!

Ya know, it's amazing how time does what it does. My children are already approaching their teens, well at least one of them (12). The other will be 10 next week (double digits). I remember when my daughter Ashley, the child that is 12, would fall asleep while I held her close to me in front of the computer listening to the alphabet. It was the "sure" way she would fall asleep. Now I can barely pick her up!

My son (10), was born in Washington DC. My daughter was born in California. Can you tell we were in the military? My son is a natural athlete. He is fast, quick on his feet, and loves football. But what amazes me the most is when I watch him when he s with younger kids. He is the perfect "big brother". He has the natural instinct of helping people. So does Ashley, my daughter.

My kids get along 95% of the time. They love each other and look out for reach other. Sure they have some arguments, but they are smart enough to realize that they can count on each other.

So, when someone says, make every second count, and you have kids, Please take that to hart and do the absolute best you can with them, because before you know it, you will be giving them the keys to your car!!

The First Post

Hello All (at least those of you that choose to visit),

I finally did it...a blog. I've been thinking of doing this for quite some time now. Actually, A very good friend of mine has a great blog and since I've been following his, it has encouraged me to start my own. I'm going to use this blog to express my feelings and opinions about all things that impact me personally or not personally for that matter. So, without further ado, my blog...
